Our Pot Bellied Pig History: It all started with Ms. Piggers. My brother in law found her at a local flea market, bought her and her brothers, and I picked her out to keep. Well from there it went to acquiring three other little girls. I found a home for one of them but decided to keep her sister and her half sister. Piggers has since gone on to a friends house up the road...but she is still a part of our family. Then came Cheetah and Tarzan into our life, and we truly discovered the joys of pot bellied pig ownership. Tarzan went on to another farm to be a breeder pig there, so Cheetah became our only pig.
7-22-09 I was not going to breed Cheetah again. I will not have a male intact pig on the farm. They don't mix with baby goats. But a male from one of our previous litters (not Cheetah's) paid Cheetah a visit a few months ago, and on 7-20-09 Cheetah gave birth to 4 boys and one girl. We are retaining the runt and going to have him neutered as a companion to us and his mom. He will take his mom's place at the petting zoos, as she is getting older and larger and it is harder to get her going to them. So little Barbaro, or BB as we call him, is taking his mom's place in the educational program. He has a bum foot on his right rear, so he is a very special little boy. HE IS NOT FOR SALE.

The female is for sale for $100 and the 3 other males are already sold. They are all very healthy and doing well, being handled and socialized daily.

Female is the one below. Her
name is
Butterball. She is available for $100.

If you are interested in a pot bellied pig, try rescue! There are so many unwanted pigs that people 'dump' after they realize how big they get and how much care they require. See the links at the bottom of my page. We occasionally get one into rescue. Watch our petfinder page or sale page to see if we have any available.

A sad note: One cold morning we awoke to find little Wilbur under the 3 females. We think he went there for warmth and couldn't get out from under them or get them to move. He joins our other beloved animals at the Rainbow Bridge waiting to see us again some day.
